Dear Mr./Ms./Dr. _________________:
I would be honored if you considered me for an elementary teaching position at your
school. I am expected to graduate from Arizona State University with a bachelors degree
in elementary education in December of 2016. I am ecstatic to begin my teaching career
in and am interested in doing that at your school. My ability to learn quickly, work
positively with others in a professional setting, and my variety of teaching experiences
will enable me to be a great asset to your school.
I strive to create a creative and positive classroom environment where students will feel
eager to learn new ideas every day. As a student teacher at Mountain View School in
Peoria I have began to create curriculum that makes students strive to meet high
expectations and keeps their minds alert. I am also implementing a service-learning
project through AmeriCorps at Arizona State University. My teaching philosophy is to
ensure that my students are learning through experimentation, real life situations, and
hands-on activities.
I would like to schedule an appointment with you to learn more about your vision and the
way that your school is set up. I am interested in hearing about the community
surrounding the school and what types of activities or volunteer work I can get involved
in. I can reached at my email: mventron@asu.edu or my cell phone: (801)- 989-8814.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Mackenzie Ventrone
