OUTLINE
6:00 6:05pm: Parents and students arrive and gather on the rug. At the door,
parent-student duos are given a colored card which will later determine which
center to start at.
6:05 6:20pm: Teacher will model a read aloud using a favorite bedtime story. After
reading, the teacher will instruct parents and students on the details of each
station and where each group will go.
6:20 6:30pm: 1st center rotation
6:30 6:40pm: 2nd center rotation
6:40 6:50 pm: 3rd center rotation
6:50 7:00pm: Closing time. Students will present a goodnight song to parents and
parents will leave with the students story and also their informational Reading at
Home with your Kids magnet.
