This assignment was something we did in Government. Mr. Hawkins strongly pushed that we
take this assignment seriously and I did, and I learned a lot. My decision was yes, the Electoral
College should be abolished. The resources I used to help me make this decision was doing a
lot of research on the pros and cons of the Electoral College. The internet was my biggest
resource for this assignment as it is where I also found all of my quotes for my essay.

Best Piece Reflection

It took me awhile to figure out which assignment I wanted to use for my best piece, I
didnt feel like any of my assignments were that great to live up to my best piece Then I read
this one and remembered how hard I worked on it. I chose this specific writing for my bestpiece
for many different reasons. One being I worked very hard on it, and spent many hours doing it.
Secondly I learned a lot more than I expected. In this essay you should expect to find why I
believe the Electoral College should be abolished, and some reasons relating to that decision.
Without knowing I learned a lot doing this assignment, I thought it was just another assignment I
had to get done in order to not get a zero. With doing this assignment I learned about how our
voting system really works and the pros and cons of the Electoral College, why it was made,
and how it has failed us more times than one. I will use my learning experience from this
assignment for when I actually do vote, and for my reasoning behind my vote.
