Create a
website/ePortfolio
to help enhance
student learning
and give them a
resource to
reference when
they are stuck
studying or doing
homework.
Teaching example:
create a website
to promote
learning of the
subject material.
Adapt the
material on the
website to what is
relevant in the
classroom for the
students so that
they will
incorporate the
use of technology
in their learning
experience.
Understand (Identify
Blooms Level)students will have
access to website
inside and out of the
classroom, and they
will utilize the website
in order to better
comprehend the
learning material and
concepts being
taught in the
classroom.
Have students
complete the task of
calculating and
statistics and
probabilities of a
certain
concept/problem.
Have them analyze
the data and post
their results on the
website to show and
share their work.

Create a website
to capture
students
attention when it
comes to reading.
Encourage them
to look at different
medias of writing
to gain knowledge
on different
topics. Teacher

website that has
different types of
written work for
the students to

access to the website
inside and outside of
the classroom and
they will utilize the
website in order to
gain a new
perspective on
reading and learn of
the different types of
reading material and
medias that they can
find and use through
the resource of
technology.
Have students
compose their own
piece of writing,
whether it range
from a narrative
project to research
papers. Students
can get tips and
guidance on
composition from
the website, and
students can do
peer editing on the
website.

1. History
Create a website
to make learning
history exciting.
Encourage them
to look at different
parts of history by
providing different
links to articles
and videos on the
topic being
discussed in class.
Teacher Example:
Create a website
on the Civil War
that provides
access to articles
and videos that
provide
information on the
war.
2. Geography
Understand (Identify
Blooms Level)students will have
access to the website
inside and outside of
the classroom and
they will utilize the
website in order to
understand the
subjects being taught
in the history part of
the curriculum they
are required to learn
and comprehend.
They will gain a better
understanding of the
topics being covered
because the use of
technology provides
them with more
materials to analyze
and learn from.
Have students look
at maps on one part
of the website and
then have an online
quiz on another part
of the website.
Students have the
ability to learn and
quiz themselves on
the website in order
to enhance their
understanding of
geography.

Collaborative work
can be done
between the
teachers and
students. Creating
a website
together and
deciding what
content goes on
the website will
create an overall
professional
project to be
displayed. (Above
is the teaching
example).
Students can conduct
research and create a
website or digital
portfolio to display
their work and
findings. Students can
collaborate and
comment on each
others work.
Reflection:
While completing this matrix, it was easy for me to see how creating websites and ePortfolios fits directly into the technology
integration concept. I came to understand how creating a website would benefit me as a teacher and my future students in the
classroom. I will be able to reach my students by allowing them to use technology in the classroom and also giving them a
resource that is accessible outside of the classroom so that they can continue to learn, grasp and understand the material I will
be discussing in the classroom when I am not around to help them, such as when they are doing homework and projects at home.
The content that I can put on these websites to enhance the learning of my students is unlimited; I can use videos, articles,
pictures, games, quizzes, and much more. This matrix reinforced my beliefs on how important and beneficial integrating
technology in the classroom is.
