Objective:
After 6 weeks of group and individual counseling:

GPA will increase by 25% for fifteen 5th and 6th grade students who were at risk
for retention.

Students will gain increased awareness about organizational skills, time


management, study skills, and stress management.

Share the results with the principal(s) and teachers.

Individualized reports can be made for students and parents.

Guide:

Make activities more multisensory and relevant for this demographic.

Initiate more parent outreach throughout the group process (e.g. parent connections,
which outline what was covered each week in groups).

Include more teacher feedback (e.g. pre/post-test for teachers inquiring about changes
in students progress, etc.).
