Every now and then the Social Security Administration conducts researches and
theypickoneoutofeveryfivenumberstoformasamplegroup.Forexample,if
thelastfourdigitsofyourSocialSecurityNumberendupbetween30013999or
80018999 then your number will be part of that respective sample group. The

The group number shows the time when the person was assigned the Social
Security Number. The order starts with odd numbers 01 through 09 then even

through 99. Each state assigns its area numbers with the group number 01 and
usesserialnumbers00019999beforestartingtousegroupnumber03.
For example, lets use New Hampshire. The very first SSN assigned was 00101

your good record only stays for 2 years in your record, bad information and

andaddresschange.Moststatesdonotrequireacourtorderforyoutosubmita
namechangeattheDMV.Youcancallyourlocalofficetocheckifyoumighthave

method is to keep your name and birth date unchanged and use different
informationwithitbecausethatisthemostsimpleandeasyprocess.
