By Following given instructions, Student will be able to use Photostory 3 and its
functions with 90% of accuracy
By recalling relevant knowledge, the student will be able to upload images with 100%
accuracy.
Examining given sample, students will Format and add effects to images aligned with
the contest requirements.
Given 3 different samples, Students will check and according to their content will create
different text options, record narration, and add background music best fit to their
project.
Putting all learned information together, student will save as Project and Publishing as
video according to given contest requirements.

INTRODUCING THE LESSON: As an induction to motivate students, Teacher will start the lesson by
showing a 2-minute YouTube video prepared by Microsoft Photostory 3. After a video Teacher will tell
students that they will create a video by using a program for their storyboards, and will ask if they
know any media program that will allow you make a video out of pictures, text, and voice recording.
This will help teacher to understand about students background information about the new topic
INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURE:
Teacher will continue lesson by reviewing the topic covered last time. By using Questioning method
teacher will ask questions about what they learned last computer class. Last time Students were
introduced storyboard, and how to create simple storyboard with Microsoft Word document. And then
slowly makes transition to the new objectives. After defining new concepts, Teacher will start
demonstrating how to use the program, teacher sometimes will stop ask students if they have any
questions. Then Step by Step, Teacher will show them how to launch program, how to import
pictures, how to edit pictures, how to add text, how to record narration, how to add background music
or make a music by using programs own function, and last but not least how to save project file to
their Home Folders and how to publish video file.
ASSESSMENT:
Students will be given a Distco Test Folder at their Home Folders. They will open that folder and start
following the given steps (Assignment_Steps.pdf). Teacher will provide pictures and Music files. By
following given steps Students will practice with Microsoft Photostory 3 and create their very first Test
Project files. After they finish their practice assignment they need to save their work to their Home
Folders. There should be One Project file and one video file. While students are working, teacher will
float in the computer lab and will check if students need extra help. Also I will check their final works
and provide them with feedbacks about their projects next class.
Modifications/Differentiated Instruction:
There is one Student who needs modification. According to his IEP, He has a trouble reading
instructions. Teacher will put a video tutorial for him and he will follow steps through there. He will be
using headphones to listen and do his assignment.

CLOSURE:
5 minutes before bell rings, I will make review of the topics we covered and explain what we are going
to do in our next class which is going to be how to submit their final video file to Distcos website, and
close the lesson.
