WHAT TO DO
SOTECH Core Group (SCG)
-Standing Committees:
a.) Peer Tutorial
- Conduct Peer Tutorials that will
aid students. Peer tutorial is a twoway process that develops
excellence and service-mindedness
of students.
- Survey and evaluation of
subjects: difficulties, assessment of
subjects, highlights.
b.) Manpower for Support
- Awaken and/or Boost the desire
of Students to lead and serve
through activities like leadership
trainings, group dynamics, etc.

Consultations are great

avenues to discuss about
students concerns,
issues or suggestions.

c.) Sports
- Students who want to help their
fellow SOTECH through first-aids will
be given the chance to do so. They
can learn through lecture forums
and formal first-aid trainings (e.g.
Red Cross Training)
Conduct General Assemblies for

Have a UPV-SOTECH SC suggestion
box available at SOTECH
Publish various information sources
to update and inform the students
about various matters (UPV-SOTECH

Agendas for every council meeting
are to be discussed and approved
ahead of the official meeting of the
council so that the students already

- Batch Cup or SOTECHLYMPICS
- Cultural Activities (e.g. Haraya)
- Survey on the needs and
interests of the students in
various subjects and from
there develop a plan that could
be integrated with their
interests.
Basic Mass Integration activities at
least once for the whole academic
year.
-These activities aim to involve and
submerge the students to different
experiences of society, like poverty,
that will increase political, social, and
economic awareness.

Community development/
Leadership Trainings.
-After conducting Basic Mass
Integration, community outreach
programs at least once per semester
will serve as the outlet of the
experience that the students have.
-These could be through Leadership
Trainings of the Youth Sector of

Society, Community help through

lectures and projects (The foreseen
needs from the BMIs)
