Three Branches of Virginia

Government

Executive

Legislative

Judicial

But, first you must understand

These three branches apply to three different levels of government:

Federal (or National)

State
Local

Federal level = The United States of America

(our country)
State level = Ones state, which is Virginia for all
of you (Rhode Island for me)
Local level = Your city, county or town

So basically
1. On the federal level, there is an executive branch,
legislative branch, and judicial branch.
2. On the state level, there is an executive branch, legislative
branch, and judicial branch.
3. On the local level, there is an executive branch, legislative
branch, and judicial branch.
