The topic I chose was how does music affect your mood I chose this topic because it combines
popular culture and science. I dont think that race, class, or gender will affect my topic because
they are all scientifically proven facts and not really disagreeable. But areas may affect this
because of the different types of music there are in other places around the world. Maybe
somewhere else our upbeat music can have a negative effect on someone because it means
something else in a different part of the world. It could also affect someone who had a bad
experience with a song or a genre of music. It can affect the way the song makes them feel
compared to someone else who has no prior affiliation with that certain song or genre.
