The Reading Camp is a very special program of the Department of
Education . What makes it special? It is special because it gives a
chance for the non-readers and slow readers/learners to extend
their learning through reading. They will be having fun also because it
is not just purely reading but there are story telling and mind boggling
games. (puzzle, spelling and guessing games)

During our reading camp, there were more or less 15 pupils involved
in higher grade level. There were story reading, tongue twisters and
acting. The children enjoyed most on acting because they felt they
were actors and actresses. Reading tongue twisters makes them
happy. Series of games were introduced to them which made the
children work together, (by group) through these games children were
able to enhanced their ability to think and to create different
strategies just to win the game. There were varied reading activities
which developed the skills in reading, thinking and speaking as well.
The film viewing was done on the third week.
