CHAPTER 1
At the beginning of my internship I
feel:
Excited
Overwhelmed
Nervous
Anxious
Strong skills and Expectations:
Developing and Coordinating
programs/projects.
My challenge
Trying to maintain a balance in my
schedule between work, home and school.
Essential highlights to include in my
portfolio:
Creating marketing material; such as
brochures, website, flyers, etc..

CHAPTER 2
My agencys Context:
Building long-term business and
community relationships.
Creating innovative ideas and
solutions.
Providing affordable business services.
Representing different cultures and
diverse backgrounds.

I am inspired, by this because I am


purpose driven by organizations,
who provide resources to re-build
better communities, businesses and
lives!

CHAPTER 3

Handling Ethical Dilemmas


Always maintain professionalism.
Avoid negative legal actions by solving
problems immediately and before they arise.
Provides agency and community surveys to
evaluate challenges and solutions that impact
ethnic and cultural differences.
Demonstrates cultural value and appreciation,
by providing free cultural diversity workshops
and trainings.
Attend community legislation meetings to
understand the community needs, among
businesses and selected monitory residents.

CHAPTER 4

Integrative Processing Model (IPM)


Gathering Data from Concrete
Experience: Specifically for an
employment and training program for
Men and Women transitioning from
prison back into society.
Develop a Plan: Use research data to
achieve an effective methodthat
meets the program needs.
Articulating: Be able to develop
confidencein articulating the subject
at hand, especially when
communicating with others.

in the workplace.
How to accept and adapt to
organizational change.
I plan to use what I learned
throughout my internship and project
to improve programs and businesses
that are in need of assistance in these
particular areas.

CHAPTER 8

Evaluating my writing samples:


Strengths: Artistic, inspirational and emotional writer
Weakness: Sometimes find it difficult to end with a summarizing
paragraph that persuades the reader.
Improvement: Editing, grammar and punctuation

CHAPTER 9
Types of situations that causes stress
for me:
Overwhelmed by multi-tasking
Lack of time management and being

My career goals:
To graduate this semester with my Masters degree in Administration of
Human Services.
To own a business enterprise that focuses on human services/community
outreach.
To become a life/spiritual coach in the next 2 years.
To get a Doctorate degree in the next 3 years.

SUGGESTIONS
Be prepared and reliable
Managed and balance your time effectively
Communicate effectively with instructor and
site-supervisor
Be open minded, creative and a good listener
Dont let stress hinder you from progressing
Dont focus on how many times you fell or
messed up, but on how many times you got
back up and succeeded.
Lend a helping to others when needed,
because you never know when you will need
help.
Be aggressive in a positive manner and always
practice humility!
