Preparations
1. Go to library and get Drug Free Zone book
2. Look over book to have a prior knowledge of
content
3. Create a simple 5 question quiz over being drug
free
4. Have all the materials needed for activities
5. Go to CDC and collect coloring books, pamphlets,
and press on tattoos.
6. Have a prize or treat for kids who answer all five
questions correctly.

Standard #7: Planning For Instruction
The teacher plans instruction that supports every student in meeting rigorous learning
goals by drawing upon knowledge of content areas, curriculum, cross-disciplinary
skills, pedagogy, as well as knowledge of learners and the community context.

Brief Description:
For this assignment we are creating a lesson plan for physical and health education
that supports every student in meeting rigorous learning goals by drawing upon
knowledge and content areas, as well as knowledge of learners and the community
context.

Rationale:
To document my understanding of InTASC Standard #7: Planning For Instruction, we
have selected to include a power point lesson assignment. This assignment will show
our understanding of curriculum, content areas, pedagogy, as well as knowledge of
learners and the community context.

Hula-hoop for 30 seconds
Run to the rope and climb to the top and ring the bell to win!
