School Day Structure

The school is serviced by Torrens Transit


and SouthLink buses.

The school day starts at 8.45am and finishes at 3.00pm.


For senior school students there is some flexibility in their
learning program, which is clearly explained to them by the
Senior School Management Team.

education. At Reynella East College teachers offer the

PARENT PARTICIPATION
Parents are valued as important partners
in student learning.
Parents and teachers are encouraged to communicate
about student progress by telephone, email, through the
Parent Portal (SEQTA) student diary and on information
and interview nights.
Parents can also assist in the school by:
contributing to committees, working parties and
the Governing Council
assisting in the canteen, the resource centre, coaching
sports teams, arts performances and in other school
activities as advertised via the school newsletter.

students from years 8 - 13. Year 8
enrolments for 2017 will be capped at 245.

Reynella East College offers a special focus Sports

about pursuing a pathway to elite sport.
Arts Academy
Reynella East College offers a special focus Arts Academy
in a range of areas including Music, Media-Arts (film
making), Drama, Visual Arts/ Design and Dance. The Arts
Academy has been established to cater for gifted students
and those who are passionate about pursuing a pathway
in the Arts.
Innovators Academy
Reynella East College offers a special focus STEM program
that encourages critical and creative thinking through
practical application of Science, Technology, Engineering
and Mathematics in partnership with industry and
universities. The Innovators Program caters for gifted
students and those interested in pursuing a career in
STEM related endeavours.
Students interested in applying for entry into any of
these Academies must meet certain criteria and follow
