FINAL PRESENTATION REFLECTION

In my presentation, I included all the required elements which are: The title slides parts, the
topics implementation slides, personal photos, early learning standards, scanned documents,
personal video, hyperlinks that are related to the topic, personal voice recording and references.
The presentations slides were descriptive and I gave detailed sentences about how to perform
the activity and lesson plan which are align with my topic of counting numbers. My main aim
was to show how to apply the topic in the classroom by choosing a simple activity and materials
that are easy to find. Moreover, choosing the age of children who can appropriately perform the
activity. In addition, my presentations slides were organized and concentrated on the topic of
counting numbers. On the day of my presentation, I came on time and I was wearing formal
clothes. I was already trained to present my slides and to give enough information about how to
apply the topic into the classroom. I was detailed when I was explaining to my classmates and
teacher about the performance of my lesson plan. Moreover, I was confident when I was
standing in front of my classroom and presenting my final project because I already know them,
having all the final projects requirements within my slides and I had a full idea about the topic
that I was presenting.
As this class started I was already able to create PowerPoint with rich slides and submit it.
However, I did not know how to make and add my personal voice recording to it. Moreover, I
did not know how to add personal video to the PowerPoint too. Now I am so proud that I was
able to do these steps and adding them to my final presentation. In addition, I learned how to add
transitions and animations to the slides which I did not know how to do this before. Using
technology can really enrich my assignments and works with effective ways to deliver them.
If I can make more changes or additions to my PowerPoint, they would be two main things:
First of all, I will give more attention to the slide appearance by adding more colors, changing

fonts sizes and adding more images and animations to these slides. As I learned that these
elements help the audience to keep focused on the slides presentation. Moreover, I would make
my descriptions less detailed because I learned that the audience will not read everything within
these slides and they would pay attention more to images, videos, audios and short scripts.
PowerPoints do not need to be very descriptive. However, they should be clear and organized to
be understood by the audience.
My individual strengths include choosing appropriate age of children to do this activity, creating
a full lesson plan about the topic, using various ways to explain the content of the activity and
being organized and confident when delivering the content of the slides. Children who age 4 and
5 were able to perform the activity effectively because they have awareness of numbers
recognition and counting. Moreover, creating a full lesson plan helped to support childrens
understanding of numbers recognition, counting and addition. I also used various ways to
present the information within my PowerPoint easily and directly by including voice record,
video and photos. Being confident is one of my strengths as well when I was making eye contact
and speak in details about my slides. On the other hand, one of my weaknesses was adding too
long scripts to the slides while the audience depends more on watching images to understand the
topics ideas and implementations. The other weakness was that I did not pay much attention to
the slides appearance and I did not enrich them with colors and motions.
Form submitting my presentation l learned the importance of including images and motions to
the PowerPoint to keep the audiences attention on my topic. I also learned how to include the
elements of organization, clearness and creativity in my presentation. Moreover, I learned how to
include short phrases and sentences about my topic to help the audience understands more about
my topic during explanations rather than depending on them to read the scripts. I also became

aware about the importance of being relaxed and confident while presenting my PowerPoint
through arriving at time and already being trained to deliver the slides. Finally, I gained more
knowledge about how to insert videos, images and audios into my presentation and I experienced
their effect on the understanding of the topic.
