Goal #1: Activities and Timeframes


How am I going to achieve my goal? Identify a minimum of three (3) learning activites with timeframes/timelines.

1) Become competent with the FLACC pain scale by Feb. 28th, 2016
2) Attend in-service on techniques to improve communication with non-verbal clients
3) Participate in observation of preceptor to have examples and guidance on how to understand clients
that are non-verbal. Preceptor to provide 15mins of feedback after every shift to ensure techniques are
being learned and evaluated.

Goal #2: Activities and Timeframes


How am I going to achieve my goal? Identify a minimum of three (3) learning activites with timeframes/timelines.

1) Create an organizational outline for each shift daily.


2) Preceptor will give guidance and approval of organization day to ensure management of time is
appropriate.
3) Will ensure every 15mins that timelines are being adhered/ managed.
4) Ensure that organization of day is in occurrence of prioritizations as be nursing standards set out by
CNO.
5) Receive feedback about strengths and weaknesses daily to know what modifications need to be done
to achieve goal.
