Intervention Identification and

Prioritization
1. From the root problems, identify the interventions needed
to solve them.
2. Rank the interventions identified using the following
criteria:
a. Urgency - requiring immediate attention
b. Seriousness number of people affected
c. Growth trend area of coverage/ expansion
d. Resource availability availability of funds

3. Score each criterion from 1 (less important) to 5

(very important)
4. Add the scores per criterion. The intervention
with the highest total score ranks first in terms of
priority.
