Ministry Philosophy
I care for the appearance and the substance of people and places. I want things to
look good and be good. I work to make places organized, comforting, and welcoming.
My core ministry values are education, equipping, empowering, healing, creativity, and
safety.
I believe my purpose in life is to:
Transform lives by enabling people to work with the Holy Spirit, with others, and with
themselves to become more Christlike.
Guide people into restoration and deliverance by healing physical, emotional, and
spiritual wounds.
Reconcile people to God and to others by dissolving barriers and by building new
thought patterns and new ways of living that guard relational connection.
Personal Summary
Converted at a conference. Firm believer that all Christians are called to minister to God and
others in all circumstances of life.

Ministry Experience
June 2014 to June 2015
A one year resident program with NeedHim, a ministry that evangelizes to non- Christians
through technology. I chatted with seekers for 20 hours per week. Conversations included
gospel presentations, salvations, spiritual conversations over a wide range of topics,
apologetics, and at times severe ridicule and time-wasting. This year taught me about
listening to people and being there for them. I learned to rely upon the Holy Spirit to
change people, and how to communicate the Gospel clearly to numerous types of people.
As a resident leader, I was responsible for a team of seven volunteers who dedicated their
time and energy to speak with seekers. I wrote e-mails to encourage and pray for them in
addition to answering questions they had.
I went twice a month to the Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, Missouri.
A Central Bible College professor led a Bible study there, and I was blessed to go with
him. I asked probing questions and gave input during discussion.
I assisted my church's college and career group. I helped with outreach, worship, prayer,
and discussion.
