M.H. : I always comply with the policies, by acting appropriately with respect for my surroundings. I treat the stimulation labs with and the sim guys
with respect. I think I am well behaved while in the stimulation lab and I know how to conduct myself appropriately in each lab.

M.H. : I know I have demonstrated professionalism in all these areas. It is shown because I have shown up for every single class on time, in the
correct dress code. All my assignments thus far have been submitted on time. My language and behaviour are appropriate for the settings I am in.

M.H. : I document clearly in the written form, as evident from my first documentation assignment. I have not gotten the chance to practice
documenting on the electronic method but look forward to doing so. I think I know how to document concisely and accurately as well according to the

the online resources to help educate myself. I also have all my e textbooks which are very resourceful and rich of information. I also have recently
discovered the resoouces in the Humber library, and there are so many different resources available there.

M.H. : I have establish a few meaningful and trusting relationships with those involved in my educational process. I have become close with some

M.H. : I know every person is unique and has their individual needs and wants. I know when I begin my practice that I have to keep in mind each and
every person needs a different treatment and a different care. This is all based on the clients culture, religion, beliefs, and personal views.

M.H. : I know when looking at a client in a holistic view you must look at every aspect of them and their health, they are a whole person and you must
look at them in that way. When planning an intervention and assessment I know I must look at the persons, physical, metal and social well-being.

M.H. : I am still practicing my assessment and interviewing nursing skills, and I am gradually getting the hang of it. I know it will take time for me to
get a complete grasp of all these skills, but I have a firm understanding of how to implement all these skills.

M.H. : I have a clear understanding of how to preform a health assessment and nursing techniques in a safe and timely manner. I know that the
assessments should not risk the patient in any way. And it must not take up an excessive amount of time in order to not fatigue the patient.

M.H. : I know when providing the client with the healthcare needs that I must take into consideration a variety of needs. I know there are specific
elements that need certain care for each individual client that I would need to keep track of to provide quality health care.

Discuss environmental strategies that promote health safety, and reduce risk including infection control, emergency codes, and ethically
appropriate and safe use of restraints.
M.H. : One of the most important parts in providing a safe environment is by making sure there is a good chain of infection control. The first step to
infection control would be good hand hygiene. I have been informed about the different types of security codes that may be used in a clinical setting
and I understand how to utilize these emergency codes. I also understand the appropriate times to use restraints on a patient.

Utilize infection prevention and control practice, including, but not limited to: hand washing and basic personal protective equipment (PPE).
M.H. : I understand the importance of infection control, and how the chain of infection control is very important to maintain, and at the same time very
easy to break. So at all times you must be aware of how to protect oneself from infection.

M.H. : Whenever I receive feedback from a classmate or teacher, I take it in and try to incorporate their feedback while I am practicing individually.
And I think I am fairly good at providing myself with feedback, because I can see where I am going wrong, and because I know myself best I know
what I am capable of and where I can really improve.

M.H. : I understand how to rationale certain nursing procedures I may take. I know everything will have a reason as to why I am assessing said

accordingly, based on their cultural beliefs, and what they are comfortable with.
