SALES AND RECEIPTS

All sales performed on the opening reception must be documented. Artist is

responsible for
Copying this document and providing and updated list,
If any artwork is sold from the three priority gallery walls, it shall remain on
the walls for the duration of the exhibit. The News Caf will indicate when a
piece is sold and document it accordingly.
Any other artwork sales that do not interfere with priority walls can be
removed upon purchase. Such as copies, smaller reproductions, any other
item artist wishes to promote on reception night.
At the opening reception the artist is responsible for all sales. The artist is
responsible for all transactions including cash, needing change, or providing
the customer access to credit/ debit/ PayPal account if desired. RECEIPTS
MUST BE MADE FOR CUSTOMERS CLAIMING WORK AT A LATER DATE.
Any art purchased that IS on Priority Gallery walls can be picked up by the
customer the final week of the exhibit. The customer has SEVEN days
beginning at close of exhibit to claim and purchased work. Proof of purchase
IS required.
After the opening night, The News Caf will be responsible for any other sales
for the remainder of exhibit. The News Caf will Contact the artist if there is a
purchase request, and upon consent from the artist, News Caf will collect
CASH ONLY for a purchase, the customer will be given a receipt and can claim
their purchase on the last week of exhibition or within SEVEN days of exhibit
close. Any funds collected by News Caf during this time will be held for Artist
upon arrival.

Please list ALL work that will be shown. If the Artist sells a piece of artwork at any
time during the opening or through the duration of exhibition, this list MUST be
modified with SOLD or REMOVED next to item.
If at any time the artist wishes to move, alter or rearrange the artwot being
displayed, this must be approved by gallery curator.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ART DISPLAYED AT NEWS CAF

The News Caf and News Caf Art Gallery will not be held responsible for any loss or
damage regarding artwork being displayed.
The artist understands that they are choosing to display artwork at their own risk.
The News Caf does not protect the art the artist in any way in the event of damage
or loss.

If the artist fails to comply with gallery terms, News Caf has the right to remove
any artwork or terminate any exhibit.
All details of opening reception will be organized by News Caf including dates,
times, and social media. If the artist has any special needs or requests, please
indicate before opening reception.
The artist should arrive early, and plan to stay for the duration of the opening. The
artist is encouraged to bring snacks or other decorations for the reception.
News caf will provide a table for conducting sales. Any other required supplies
must be provided by the artist.

News Caf insists on maintaining a level of professional behavior. Please contact

gallery curator for specific dates and times of all events involving exhibit.
