Led a New Student Group for five 9th grade girls new to the Durham area. Topics included goal setting,
becoming familiar with Northern High, and the transition to high school.
Developed a Welcome to Northern High School curriculum for the 9th grade. The lesson was provided in all
High School Seminar classes including basic knowledge all high school students need to know in order to succeed
Developed and conducted a small counseling group for 8 African-American females aimed to develop their self
confidence and racial identity

Collaborated with teachers, parents, administration, social workers, and community resources to provide equitable
