In 3.x we refer it as ODS [Operational Data Store] and in BI 7.x we refer it as DSO [Data Store Object]
DSO is an 2 dimensional object
DSO is an Data Target
DSO is an Info Provider
We can do reporting on DSO
DSO works with Overwrite Functionality / can also be set to additive
when we create DSO / ODS it creates 3 tables in the backend
