Objectives:

To learn how to mask on photoshop. Also to use those skills to

effectively to create one image.

Process:

First I found a quote I wanted to use in my project. I then found

3 images to blend together. Then using photoshop I used the
mask element and created one image. It took a while to perfectly blend, but after a while it came together. After that, I
looked through fonts and picked my favorite to use and played
around with colors and placement of the text and eventually
added a box around the words to create a togetherness.

Process:

First, I brainstormed an idea for a picture. I knew I wanted to

add a quote in there, so I looked up some quotes and then
came up with dramatic light with my roommate in it. Using
photoshop I made it black and white and some other edits.
After that I chose a moon color scheme to use. After this I came
up with the black circle to make the moon idea stand out
better. Then I added the color swabs on the bottom.

and measured out where the folds would be and such. I then
created a logo in Illustrator. After creating that I set up my page
in InDesign of what I roughly wanted to do. I then created
body copy to add into the brochure and figured out where
to put it. I then found 4 images that fit my project and inserted
them into my project. After finding a appealing design with all
my elements, I print it out on color paper and folded it where it
needed to be folded.

March 12, 2016

Course/Instructor:
Brother Pingel

Objectives:

Learn how to create a html with the spacing correct and then
also how to link a css to add fun and character to your website.

Process:

I first chose one of my favorite logos I used in my previous projects. We then created a html with all the writing and information we needed to have. I created that html using text wrangler. After messing around with my html to make it exactly how
I wanted it, I linked my css. I then added to my css to make the
website more interesting. I did that by adding different fonts
and different spacing. I also was able to add a background
image to add to the website which added a lot to my web site.
I then was able to pull my colors from that background color to
create a more unified project.

Objectives:

Learn how to use illustrator better and create an eye catching

logo.

Process:

First, I did a lot of sketches. I also did a lot of research on my

friends company. I then picked one design I liked and created a logo that I thought was eye apealing. I used the drawing
tools in illustrator and also had fun with the fonts. I started off
with just the words and dots which looked great, but I didnt
really think it looked finished, so I added the flower pedals.

Create a layout that is appealing to the eye using the

information, pictures, and logo that was given to us. Use white
space effectively and start to get use to the programs we use.

Process:

First I had to download all the information, pictures, and logo. I

then chose which ones I wanted to use. I chose this picture and
put it at the very top and then worked on the title. I then wanted to create some kind of line and so I decided to do a little bit
of a dotted line and then I did the same thing to the bottom to
create repetition. I then chose where I wanted the words and
played with spacing until I found the spot I wanted them in.
