Crime and Justice Transfer Program

Students who completes an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice at Southern State
Community College may transfer into the Bachelor of Arts in Crime and Justice Studies at Wright State
University.
In addition to the associates degree, students may complete additional coursework at Southern State to
apply to the bachelors degree at Wright State. Appropriate courses are suggested in the concluding
portion of this document. Students should verify their satisfactory academic program (SAP) requirements
with the Office of Financial Aid before pursuing classes outside of the associate degree requirements.

Earn at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA,


Grade of C or higher in ENG 1100 equivalency
Two additional general education Arts/Humanities and/or Social Sciences

Additional Information

All Liberal Arts B.A. majors at Wright State require 42 semester hours of credit at the
3000/4000 level.
Crime and Justice Studies majors must take a minimum of 50% (22.5 hours) of criminal
justice courses at Wright State.
All Liberal Arts B.A. majors at Wright State require a foreign language through the 2020
level.
No more than 45 hours of course work in the major department will count toward the
B.A. degree.

This agreement will expire two years from date of signature.
