There has not been an opportunity for the student to do research in this setting. They do have access to the AARP
Magazine and newsletter to review the different issues that affect seniors. The program that we use for documenting
the Intake, Assessment and ADL Assessment was developed from research.
In the section below, please provide an Overall Rating of Progress or No Progress for the students performance, as
indicated by the rating that is most frequent of the eleven (11) competencies. All parties are required to sign the
midterm evaluation to indicate that they have discussed the evaluation, even if the student does not agree with the

This has been a great learning experience, as far as learning to connect residents to services and the paperwork
required to complete when dealing with clients. Gladys is always a big help and gives good advice. She is organized,
calm, and friendly.
