Worked on a digitization project for the Chicago Archery Clubs collection of scrapbooks from the early 1900s.
Scanned and saved all pages of the scrapbooks as high quality tiff files, ran script in Photoshop to convert all tiffs to
jpegs, and created a PDF for each scrapbook.
Used preventative measures such as deacidification spray and interleaving of pages to avert further damage.
Learned basic repair practices using heat set tissue, archival tape, and Japanese paper as well as how to use
adhesives such as wheat paste and methylcellulose.
