Math We took Topic 15 test earlier this week. The

students should have taken those home earlier. .
Overall the test we very good. We have already started on Topic 16. This Topic is about ratios, percents,
and decimals
Reading After we get back from spring break
we will only have a three days before we leave
for Camp Amigo. Those days will be spent on
ISTEP prep and poetry.
GrammarNext week we will be learning how
to use who and whom correctly.
Writing We will be doing journal writing.

Spelling Pre-Study for your spelling test!

Social Studies We have wrapped up Chapter
9 and taken the test. Next, we will be studying
more of the workings of the government. Including the three branches of government.
Science We will continue to study Unit 5 Biotechnology. When we get back from break we
will present PowerPoints made in class to show
various items that we use everyday that undergo technology and engineering to help make our
lives easier!
Camp Amigo

I still have several students who are missing papers or

Camp Amigo Money. This is due Monday when we
get back from break. I have sent home a yellow reminder for those students. Also Chaperone meeting
is Monday when we get back from break!!!

Note From the Teacher:

Please remember that there is a meeting for chaperones attending Camp Amigo on April
11th at 6:00 pm. This is a very informative meeting. Please let me know if you are unable to
attend and I will get a packet of information to you. Also, as Camp Amigo approached be looking for information about what to bring and what not to bring. We keep a close eye on the forecast so we can prepare the students on what they will need.
