Name of the School Observed Lawang Bato National High School

School Address Centro St., Lawang Bato Valenzuela City
Date of Visit January 4, 2016

1. The school was located in an urbanized place. On its right side there is a factory,
on the left side there is a elementary building, and when you go outside of the
school is a pathway for the vehicles and also another factory and also a store.
2. The school campus is small because the elementary and highschool campus has
been combined and then they put some barriers so that the elementary students
cant go to the highschool students place. As well as the highschool students.
3. As I pass by on the different offices in the school, all I can say was it was a wellventilated, well-organized and also it was clean inside.
4. School library was available but the school cafeteria was located in a multipurpose building near the school library, because the school cafeteria has been
demolished so that the school can create a new building for the students of the
school.

Your Analysis
How do the school campus and the classroom in particular impact on the learning of the
students going to school? What are your conclusions?
Its just a typical school and classroom in a public high school. It could only have
an impact on the learning of the student when they are going to school. If the teacher can
inspire her students everyday and also the students in a classroom has unity and great
companion to each and everyone.

How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development? How does
this relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning?
Through motivation and the reinforcement that a teacher can give to her students.
Also the different stages that a student are involve in particular.

Your Reflections
1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why? Why
not?

Yes, because that kind of school environment is just like the school
environment that I used to go when I was in highschool.
2. What kind of school campus is conducive to learning?
Simply a campus that each students can feel that they are at their own
place. That has a complete facilities as well.
3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning?
A classroom that is just like a replicate of their houses. That they can
feel comfortable everytime they went to the school.
4. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number 3?
The classroom that I will be handle someday would be a very
comfortable one to my learners. I will give the classrooms atmosphere a positive
aura everday so that my students wanted to go to school everyday.
5. Write your additional learnings and insights here.
