you will find your Phase Two Orders and the background information to
complete them. (Ask one of the students to read the Phase Two Order out to

Phase Two - Convincing the Parents!
Your next mission in our covert operation is to write your persuasive
speech that you will be recording to go with your iMovie.

Class before we start the mission lets brainstorm what we know about writing
persuasively. Prompt students with hints like type of language, structure of the
text, arguments that might be used, counterarguments, words that might be
used to persuade, who the audience is for this persuasive speech.

Students please open our web quest on the laptops and go to the Phase Two
Tab.
Today students we will be using read write thinks Persuasive Map that is
available on their website readwritethink.org. This is a tool to help you develop
each component of your persuasive speech.

Follow the steps as prompted by the software:
