*Camp Staff- working with several camps in the summer
teaching girls on school dance teams a variety of dances.

*Dance Instructor- taught students contemporary, hiphop, technique & jazz. I was responsible for the
choreography and costuming for my recital dances. I
taught 4 classes a week.
Body Expressions Dance Center, Mandeville, La.September,
2010June, 2014
*Dance Instructor taught hip-hop, contemporary, jazz.
(June, 2013 June, 2014) I was responsible for the
choreography, costume, and lighting for my recital
dances. I taught 3 classes a week as well as summer
classes.

November, 2010 Attended West Coast Dance Explosion
Dance Convention where I competed with the company. I
was also a runner up for a scholarship.
January, 2012 Attended Hollywood Vibe convention.
Received a Regional Scholarship.
January, 2013 Attended The Pulse and received a
scholarship to any Pulse Dance Convention.

As a participant of the Teacher Graduate Program at Body


Expressions Dance Center, I was expected to participate
in an extensive year long training program, assist in 2
classes, take periodic test, write an essay, take a final
oral and written exam, and performed a self
choreographed solo at our recital.

Chosen to be on the boys high school dance team. St.
Paul is the brother school to St. Scholastica Academy.
As a member of The Golden Blues, I danced on Friday
nights at football games, participated in pep rallies,
marched in parades, competed in competitions, attended
summer camp as well as band camp. While attending
summer dance camps, I receive the status of Allstar at
both American All-Star camps and UDA camps. I was
named Outstanding Dancer by my coach as a first year
member and received the Best Performer award the
next two years.
*St. Scholastica Royalettes Dance Team August, 2009May, 2010
Chosen to be a Royalette by trying out for team. As a
member of the team I danced at sporting events, school
functions, marched in parades, participated in both state
and national dance competitions and attended summer
dance camp. I received the Moderators Choice and
Most Dedicated awards from our coach. I also received
Allstar staus at both American All-Star and UDA dance
camps. I served as CAPTAIN, my second year on the
team.
Northshore Academy of Dance, Covington, Louisiana Sept.
1998- May 2010
*Member of Northshore Academy of Dance Competition
Team -August, 2008August, 2009. As a member of the
team, we attended a weeklong training session in New
York City taking classes at several professional dance
studios including Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey,

Dance New Amsterdam, and Steps on Broadway. Also,


spent the day with the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes.
Learned from the Rockettes about the art of dancing and
the commitment that it takes to be a Rockette. I
participated in several dance competitions/conventions
and received a tap scholarship at New York City Dance
Alliance.
*September, 2008 May, 2009- Class Assistant at
Northshore Academy of Dance.
New Orleans Center for the Cultural Arts (NOCCA), New
Orleans, Louisiana
