Scholarship Search

1. Gates Millennium Scholarship- The deadline to apply for this scholarship


was January13, 2016. To apply for this scholarship you must meet certain
requirements such as your nationality you must be either African
American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian American/Pacific Islander
or Hispanic American. Another requirement is you must be a citizen legal
permanent residents or nationals of the United States. You also have to
have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 on an unweighted 4.0 scale or have earned
a GED. To also be eligible you have to have done community service,
extracurricular or other activities to show you have leadership skills. You
have to be able to meet Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria. And you have
to enroll for the first time at a U.S. located , accredited college or university
(with the exception of students concurrently pursuing a high school
diploma) in the fall as a full-time, degree seeking, first year student. You
need to have the Nominator Form and the Recommender Form completed
and submitted by the deadline required by that school. A Nominator Forman evaluation of the students academic record and a Recommender
Form- an evaluation of the students community service and leadership
activities. If you meet all the required material and criteria then you will be
able to apply and receive they money to pay for all required materials for
the college of your choice.

2. The Buick Achievers Program- The deadline to apply was February 27,
2015. The amount for this scholarship is $100,000 over four years. The
Buick Achievers Scholarship Program helps students who have worked
hard inside and outside of the classroom and who may need financial help
to attend college. Its a reward for what you have worked hard to get and
achieve so that you can do good in life.
3. The Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship- The deadline to apply for this
scholarship is September 30 every year. To be eligible for this scholarship you
must have a strong caddie record good grades financial help and great
character. You also must have a high school evaluation and an official
transcript, including overall GPA, class rank, and standardized test scores
and the high school letter of recommendation. Caddie evaluation and the club

letter of recommendation. Official financial documentation including a copy of


parents most recent federal tax return and the required College Scholarship
Service Financial Aid Profile.
4. Ronald Mcdonald House Charities / Hacer Scholarships- The deadline to
apply for this scholarship is in the fall. The amount this scholarship gives is
$25,000. To be able to apply for this scholarship you have to be younger than
21 years old, have a parent that is Hispanic/Latino heritage, and have a
minimum 2.7 GPA.
5. Harry S. Truman Scholarship- The deadline to apply for this was February 3,

2015. This scholarship awards the student with $30,000. Before you apply
you should make sure that you have met all the requirements for it . the
requirements include that the student should have a history of community
service, and have a want for a change in the by working in government,
education, the nonprofit sector, or the public interest/advocacy sector in order
to improve the way these institutions serve the public.
