    Puteri Gunung Ledang

    Puteri Gunung Ledang was a princess


    from Java (Indonesia). She was very
    beautiful and had magical powers.
    Sultan Mahmud, the Sultan of Melaka
    wanted to marry her. But she was in love
    with Hang Tuah. Hang Tuah was the great
    Malay warrior of Melaka.
    Hang Tuah was in love with Puteri
    Gunung Ledang, too. However, the Sultan
    did not let him marry her.
    Puteri Gunung Ledang was very hurt and
    turned herself into a fairy.
