: Once upon a time, in Sarawak, there lived a man named

Simalungun. He was a brave and strong Iban warrior. One day,
Simalungun fought with a crocodile. The villagers were so
jealous.

Villager 1

: Who are you?

Simalungun

: I am Simalungun.

Villager 2

: You are very strong. What is your secret?

Simalungun

: I am sorry. I cannot tell you.

Narrator

:The villagers were very angry. Therefore, they had a plan.

They wanted to kidnap Simalunguns wife.

Villager 1

: Simalungun had made us angry! We have to teach him a lesson!

Villager 2

: Why dont we kidnap his wife? Then, he would tell us his

secret.

Villager 1

: Yes! Lets go!

Narrator

: The villagers kidnapped Simalunguns wife. After that, he

fought with the villagers, but he lost. Simalungun promised to
kill them.

Simalungun

: Magic Spirit, turn me into a crocodile! I want to kill all of

them!

Magic Spirits

: You are now a crocodile. You are Bujang Senang! Go and catch
those people!

Simalungun

: Hwarghh! I will kill you! Hwarghhhh!

Narrator

: That was how Bujang Senang, the big white crocodile existed.
