Wednesday: written analysis paragraph (based on multiple
choice items) will be due.

Learning Target: Students will show understanding
of the historical events of the Bataan Death March by
reading and engaging in oral discussion.

Learning Target: Students will show improvement in
multiple choice skills by completing practice items and
discussing their outcomes.

WEDNESDAY
(1C) Learning Target: Students will show improvement in
multiple choice skills by completing practice items and
writing a paragraph of analysis.
(1C) Do Now: What strategies will you employ today to
aid you in completing multiple choice items?
After completing multiple choice items and discussing
their outcomes, students will choose one item they got
wrong they will then write a paragraph of no less than
seven words describing the logic that brought them to
the incorrect answer.
THURSDAY
(1C) Learning Target: Students will show vocabulary
acquisition by completing a vocabulary quiz.
(1C) Do Now: Please take out a pencil and clear your desk
in preparation for a vocabulary quiz.
After completing the quiz, students will be given time to
read from the prologue of Ghost Soldiers.
FRIDAY
(1C) Learning Target: Students will improve their skills in
speaking and listening. They will show their learning by
engaging in Socratic dialogue.
(1C) Do Now: Please produce the opening question(s) you
have prepared for todays discussion. Be ready to share it
with the class and explain why this particular question is
important to you and important for us to explore.
