Testing*

Salivary Testing
Does it seem like every time you go to the dentist for your
check up, you leave with a list of fillings that need to be
done? Lets work together to figure out why this is happening.
Your mouth has many different kinds of bacteria. This
bacteria feeds off of the different types of foods you eat
and produces acid that will cause cavities. Now, if you are
constantly sipping on a mountain dew throughout the day, you
are not giving your mouth enough time to raise the ph. See
the lower the ph, the better it is for strep mutans (the cavity
causing bacteria) and it take about 2 hours for the ph to rise
to normal. So every time to sip on the drink, it continues to
become lower and lower.
This testing will allows us to know the level of strep mutans in
your mouth in only 15 minutes. If you are one whose diet is
very acidic, or you are one to who is constantly snacking
throughout the day, lets figure out why and see just how
many cavity causing bacteria are in your mouth today!
