UNDERGRADUATE AND POST-GRADUATE MENTORING

I have a passion for mentoring others through the process of scientific inquiry, and have advised
over 25 undergraduates and post-graduate students (18 women, 6 ethnic minorities, and 1 firstgeneration college student) for a total of over 1,500 volunteer research hours. I have also led four
undergraduates through their own independent research projects, one of whom presented at last
years Celebrate Undergraduate Research and Creativity (CURC) Showcase, and two of whom are
currently working on poster presentations for events this coming semester.
