ADDENDUM /BID BULLETIN NO. 16-001

This Addendum/Bid Bulletin No. 16-001 is issued in response to the queries raised
during the pre-bid conference conducted on 24 February 2016 for the project Construction
of Elevator shaft. Bidders should take note of the following:
1. On Section V. Special Conditions of Contract, GCC Clause 6.5 - List of Key Personnel
requirements No. 7. Project Registered Mechanical Engineer should be omitted since
the installation of the elevator unit is not in the contractors scope of work.
2. Personnel with multiple expertise and qualifications may be designated for up to three
different positions mentioned under GCC Clause 6.5, provided he/she is qualified for
these positions and can provide the necessary documentation in support of his/her
qualifications, such as an appropriate license, certificate of training, accreditation, and the
like, except in the case of the General Foreman, who shall perform the function of a
General Foreman as his or her sole function.
This bid bulletin shall form an integral part of the bid documents for the project, for
inclusion in the submission of technical and financial proposal.
