ACTIVITY : THE FRENCH REVOLUTION FOR DUMMIES

Directions The For Dummies series is doing a book on French history and has asked you to write the
chapter on the French Revolution. You will be making a small book summarizing the major points of the French
Revolution. It will have five pages.
Take two sheets of computer paper, fold them like a hamburger (top edge to bottom edge) to make your book.
Use 1 staple to secure it.
I have divided the subject up for you. Each bullet point will need a sentence or two. For example: What were
the three estates? Answer the question by beginning The three estates were Then, answer the question and
move on to the next question as the next sentence. At the end of each page, you will have one paragraph made
up of five sentences or so that answers all the questions for that section. Make sure you answer the questions in
a manner that make the entire thing read like a comprehensive and flowing paragraph. You must draw pictures
in your book on each page that represent the French Revolution, and dont forget to include a good picture
relating to the Revolution for the cover to your chapter/book.
