684,928,451/837,828,991

0.82 Time

0.81 Time

0.82 Time

Interpretation
As it is clear in calculation that the company has less finance to pay its obligations its ratio in
three consecutive years is almost same as 0.8:1. Which mean the companys liabilities are more
than its assets? There is a very minimum or little variation in ratio in three years. Because
company liabilities have much increased then that of assets. We can say in comprising the ratios
for three years that company has poor financial position regarding to current ratio.

Working Capital
Formula = current assets current liabilities.
Table 2

=(119741070)

= (158744639)

= (152900540)

Interpretation
The result of the working capital ratio is indicating that the company has the negative working
capital in all three years the company was not in position to meet short term obligations. Trend of
working capital for all three years is same which is negative. Which means the company is not
able to meet its short term liabilities and has more liabilities then the assets. In comparison the
company has the negative performance for all three years and the position regarding to working
capital is very poor. And it is not a healthy sign for the company. Because the company had got
the borrowed the money but they got loss on development projects.

CALCULATIONS
Interest payments

2012 = 56622580 + 7037994 = 63660574
2013 = 48921977 + 3674528 = 52596505

Formula = profit before tax + Interest Payments

2012= 243341590 + 63660574 = 307002164
2013= 42796243 + 52596505 = 95392748
2014= 72832793 +64010786 = 136843579

Interpretation
In 2012 the result is showing that the companys earnings are 4.82 times better than its interest
payments. This is a good sign as regarding to the payment of the interest charges. There is a big
variation between the years 2012 to 2013. In 2012 the earnings were almost five times better
than its interest payments and then it dropped down to the 1.81. In comprising the ratios for
three years we can say that in 2012 the company was in good position as regarding to the
payment of the interest charges. In other two years the company although has the positive figures
but in 2012 it is well.

Debt Ratio
Formula= total liabilities/ total assets.

= 0.77 Times

=0.81 Times

= 0.74 Times

Interpretation
Debt of ratio is 0.77:1 which means that the company is in the good position and has more assets
then debts. The trend for the companys assets and debt position is almost same in three
consecutive years and there was not a big difference among the results and the assets position is
good for the company in these three years. In 2013 the company is in most good position in last

three years. If we comprise overall in three years the company has the good position as concern
to the debt ratio.

21.87%

24.21%

Interpretation
This percentage is showing that the 24.4% proportion of money is left over from the revenues
after counting for the cost of goods sold. It means that the company has the source for paying
additional expenses and future payments. There is not a main difference in the three years. The
trend of the gross profit margin is almost same for the three consecutive years.
In comparison I will say that the company almost has the same gross profit margin in three
consecutive years and there is a good positive potion for the company to this regard.

11.62%

13.69%

Interpretation
It is indicating in the ratios that the company has the 16.6% operating income margin in year
2012. It means that the company can make profit after paying the production costs and the
variable costs from the net income. We can say that the company is controlling the costs and the
expenses associated with business operations. In 2013 the company was in good position as
compare to other years of statements. Company has the 16.6% margin in 2012 which is little
increased in 2012 and also in 2013.We can make the comparison after seeing the result that in
2011 the companys operating income margin was in good position in 2013 the company
although has a positive figure.

management will have given the main focus.
During to my six weeks internship training in the Talon Sports Pvt. Ltd, I have learned many

14. Recommendations for Improvement

As per my knowledge I have realized some factors that need some improvement. Which are as
follows?
First of all I will discuss about the work of the HR department. I dont think that they are
working very well in the industry. They do not monitor the conditions and the facilities which are
in the right of the workers. They are not affective to the labor assessment and to provide the
benefit to them in respective departments.
Secondly the condition of the building and the infrastructure of the washrooms and the
conditions of the other departments. As industry is working with the best brands in the world
then it must have the great infrastructure in the company.
The software which is being used in the industry should be portable as it is network based
software so that should be made in such a way that Security can be improved by specifying user
access policies. It will be compatible to Linux.
