Abstract:
SEN-Z is an advanced data exchange technology, based on controllably interacting autonomous nodes, applicable in environments where similar
mesh networks are not. The ZETA-CR and ZETA-NR theories are embedded in the specifically designed autonomous node (CU-Z) and Security
Control Protocol to deliver a unified information environment at very high levels of security (filtering of unwanted devices), robustness (close to zero
chance of jamming) and resource efficiency (low-energy; reduced number of nodes per area unit). The SEN-Z network will work in a much wider
geo-spatial range than the currently known mesh networks. The extended coverage and reduced resource intensity of SEN-Z removes the biggest
difficulties hampering the wide use of decentralized wireless networks and allows them cross the borders of WAN.
SEN-Z will be relevant to a wide range of high volume, rapidly growing global markets of services based on data exchange via sensor networks.
Security systems, building management systems, industrial facilities management, monitoring and technical parameter control in different settings
(water basins, climate conditions, storehouses, urban), and closed environments (residential and educational) are examples of envisaged key
market applications of the SEN-Z technology. Offering a high connectivity through variety of interfaces, user-friendliness and easy, cheap
implementation, SEN-Z will benefit both users (service providers) and end customers. A Software Development Kit (SDK) for radio modules
management will be built into SEN-Z to allow full access to its functionalities. Many IT companies, application creators, and enthusiast developers
will be encouraged to build on it, establishing a Development Community.
Feasibility study will include: SEN-Z performance indicators compared to alternative mesh networks; user study for specific needs identification;
user involvement by negotiating pilot trials of SEN-Z with 2 companies; business plan for phase 2.
