Math We took Topic 12 test and handed it back.

Students are allowed to retest. Iif they wanted to test,

they turned in the written portion of test to me. I told
them Id like the retest done within the week. In Topic 13, students will be studying shapes, measuring volume, and surface area.
Reading Our next story is The Skunk Ladder. Eddie and his friend try to think of something to do.
Since Eddies dad tells them not to build anything,
they settle on digging a hole. The skill we will be focusing on next week will be studying character and
plot.
GrammarWe will be studying contractions and negatives.
Writing Students will continue to work on their
state reports. Most should be done with researching
and have begun to write the report.
Spelling The spelling words this week are multisyllabic words. Study! Study! Study!
Social Studies We are study the Revolutionary War.
This is an interesting unit and we use many activities
and videos to enhance the understanding of this time
in history.
Science We are studying about animals and adaptations they have in order to survive. A trading card extra credit has been offered.

Bowling is Monday.
Please make sure your permission slip and money has
been turned in to the teacher.
