Reports
Treasurer Bill Todd Opening balance was $13,361.11 & closing balance is $12,657.53.
President Cassandra Gaisor
Members Rich Burns & Tom Selko requested to be recognized so that they could address the
Board regarding the conditions of both the Creekside & Village Center Croquet Courts. After
their presentation, Barry Kloptosky was asked to join the Board Meeting to answer various
issues regarding both Croquet Courts. Barry advised that The Village Center Croquet Court is
still closed for play due to the poor drainage. In order to temporarily resolve this situation, new
sod has been laid at the south end of the court, but it will take time for it to settle and be mowed.
As for the Creekside Court, Barry advised that the court is showing a great amount of wear
around the wickets. After a lengthy conversation among the Board and Barry, it was agreed that
the courts must be turned North/South in order to give the grass time to grow back. Barry also
advised that the court is being treated by the maintenance contractor for the Black Algae. Barry
was also going to look into the paint being used for the lines since it seems to be killing the grass.
Barry also acknowledge that he was aware that the Creekside renovation warranty is due to
expire in April.
A no-frills sanctioned 2 day tournament for lower handicaps (10's & under) was discussed and
tentatively planned for mid-March, but before proceeding, a interest level will have to be
determined. An e-mail will be sent out to the membership.
A Beginner's Class for this Spring will not be scheduled until interest has been determined.
A tentative date for the Annual Member's Dinner has been noted as May 7, 2016.
