Building an enterprise Geographic Information System (eGIS) infrastructure that creates a set of common data,
services, and applications through REST services and the ArcGIS portal, using Scaled Agile Framework/Scrum
methodology.
Work closely with various FedEx business process owners to elicit and define the specific GIS functionality that
is required, and translate these needs into explicit requirements in the form of Features and User Stories.
Work closely with the FedEx GIS Information Technology team partners to clarify requirements and to add
additional details as required. Reach out to various organizations across FedEx to educate them on the value of
GIS capabilities and to work with them to integrate GIS capabilities into their business processes.
Conduct functional and user acceptance testing to ensure that our REST service and JavaScript application
products meet the need of the FedEx clients. Work closely with development to identify defects and create

Duties included assigning tasks to a team of 4 full time employees and 1 intern located in two offices within

create a GIS database for the Abandoned Landfill Inventory project.
Post-processed GPS data using Pathfinder Office to create Shapefiles then uploaded data into an Oracle Database
that were made available online for public access.
Utilized the data to analyze site conditions and to prepare a report and several maps, which were submitted to my
University Internship Coordinator for review. I received six credit hours for my efforts on the project.
