1.(II,A4)Anewsentenceshallbeaddedbetweenthe
fifthandsixthsentencesofthissection,toread:"Nor
shalltherightoftheAssemblytoreviewandreverse
actionstakenbythePresidentoftheGrandAssemblyonhis
ownauthoritybesubjecttothevetooftheCouncil."
2.(III,A5)Anewsectionshallbeadded,toread:"The
GrandAssemblyshallhavetherighttoreviewallactions
takenbythePresidentoftheGrandAssemblywhileacting
onhisownauthority,andavoteoftwothirdsofthe
memberspresentatameetingoftheGrandAssemblyshallbe
sufficienttoreverseanysuchaction."
3.(III,C1)Thesecondsentenceofthissectionshallbe
amendedtoread:"Thedate,time,andplaceofeach
regularmeetingshallbedeterminedbytheExecutive
CommitteeoftheGrandAssembly,andshallbecommunicated
toeachmemberoftheGrandAssemblyinwritingatleast
thirtydaysinadvanceofsaidmeeting."
4.(III,C2)Thelastsentenceofthissectionshallbe
amendedbytheadditionofthefollowingwords:"...ofthe
Assembly,andallmembersshallbecontactedandnotified
bythemostexpedientmethod."Twonewsentencesshallbe
addedafterthelastsentenceofthissection,toread:
"IntheeventthatallmembersoftheGrandAssemblyare
presentatthesameplaceandtime,andvoteunanimouslyto
holdanextraordinarymeetingoftheAssembly,themeeting
maybeheldwithoutfurthernotificationordelay.No
extraordinarymeetingoftheGrandAssemblyshallbe
permittedtotransactbusinessunlessaquorumoftwo
thirdsofthemembersispresent."
5.(III,C3)Thefourthsentenceofthissectionshallbe
amendedasfollows:"...andcopiesthereofprovidedwithin
thirtydaystoeach..."
6.(III,D4)Anewsectionshallbeadded,toread:"The
PresidentandSecretaryoftheGrandAssembly,together
withsuchadditionalmembersoftheAssemblywhomaybe
electedforthispurpose,shallconstitutetheExecutive
CommitteeoftheGrandAssembly.TheExecutiveCommittee

shallhavethepowertoactfortheGrandAssemblyin
emergencies,butitsactionsshallbesubjecttoreviewby
theGrandAssembly,andavoteoftwothirdsofthemembers
presentatameetingoftheGrandAssemblyshallbe
sufficienttoreverseanysuchaction.Intheeventthat
theactionreversedinvolvestheexpenditureofthefunds
orassetsoftheOrder,themembersoftheExecutive
Committeeshallbepersonallyliableforthefundsor
assetsexpended."
7.(III,E3)Thesecondsentenceofthissectionshallbe
amendedtoread:"Theserecordsshallbebroughtupto
datemonthly."
8.(IV,A2)Thissectionshallbeamendedtoread:"Each
ofthesubordinatelodgesoftheOrdershallhavetheright
andresponsibilitytocollectallduesandfeesduethe
Orderfromitsmembers,forwardingthesametothe
SecretaryoftheGrandAssemblyinsuchmannerashemay
fromtimetotimedirect.Asubordinatelodgemayalso
establishassessmentstoraisefundsfortheworkofthe
lodge,providedthatanysuchassessmentsareusedfor
purposesnotincompatiblewiththeArticlesof
IncorporationandtheBylawsoftheOrder,andthatsuch
assessmentsaresetforthinthebylawsofthelodge."
9.(IV,A4)Thethirdsentenceofthissectionshallbe

10.(IV,D4)Thethirdsentenceofthissectionshallbe
amendedbystrikingoutthewordsfrom"shallbeheld
in..."through"...electedofficers,and".Twonew
sentencesshallbeinsertedbetweenthefourthandfifth
sentencesofthissection,toread:"Electionsshallbe
heldinaregularmeetingatleastthirtydaysbeforethe
beginningofthetermofthenewlyelectedofficers.The
PresidentoftheGrandAssemblyshallhavethepowerto
permitlodgestoholdelectionslessthanthirtydays
beforethebeginningofthenewterm,butinnocaseshall

subordinatelodgeshallconstitutetheExecutiveCommittee
ofthatsubordinatelodge.TheExecutiveCommitteeshall
havethepowertoactforthelodgeinemergencies,butits

actionsshallbesubjecttoreviewbythelodge,andavote
oftwothirdsofthememberspresentatameetingofthe
lodgeshallbesufficienttoreverseanysuchaction.In
theeventthattheactionreversedinvolvestheexpenditure
ofthefundsorassetsofthelodgeortheOrder,the
membersoftheExecutiveCommitteeshallbepersonally
liableforthefundsorassetsexpended."
