Work Experience

Account Executive, January 2016 Present

As an account executive for the University Daily Kansan, I am constantly in contact with clients and work
to accommodate their needs. I work with a client list of over 15 local and national businesses, and I
maintain a positive client relationship with each by creating advertisement packages that suit their
advertising goals and making accommodation my first priority. In addition to creating advertisement
packages, my primary objective is building strong relationships between the newspaper and the client
base that are sustainable and long-lasting. I believe I will bring this ability to MoMA, as I understand the
importance of building and sustaining strong relationships with its patrons.
The Odyssey, Lawrence, KS
Marketing Consultant, September 2015 December 2015
As the marketing consultant for The Odyssey on KUs campus, I was always in contact with clients of The
Odyssey. I met on a weekly basis with local businesses who advertise with the newspaper in both print
and web advertising. I assisted businesses with formulating ad design and marketing strategies targeted at
college students. My clients included AT&T, Buffalo Wild Wings, HERE and Ultimate Tan & Spa.
Quest Diagnostics, Inc., Lenexa, KS
Specimen Technician, Summer 2014, Summer 2015
I processed pre-employment drug testing specimens in the toxicology lab, resolved issues with ordered
tests and specimens in a timely fashion, handled multiple tasks simultaneously, and consistently met
standards for production and accuracy. These were key metrics in an environment where results could
often be the determining factor in whether an individual was offered an employment opportunity or not.
Gap, Leawood, KS
Sales Associate, 2012-2014
As a sales associate, I was always in contact with customers and continually built positive customer
relationships. I provided honest input to customers and helpful product information to promote a
spirit of trust and reliability between the customer and myself. Growth within the company depended
on value of transactions, so my positive relationships with customers consistently led to greater
transactions and returning customers.
