Afternoon arrival in Washington, D.C.
Visit the Spy Museum
Check into the Arlington Court Suites Hotel
Dinner at Bertuccis Italian Restaurant
Take an evening walking tour of the Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean, Franklin
Delano Roosevelt, Martin Luther King, and National World War II Memorials
Return to the hotel for overnight
Wednesday, May 27th

Breakfast at the hotel
Morning free to tour the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
Take a tour of one of the Smithsonian Institution Museums (individual choice)
Lunch, on own
Visit the Botanical Gardens (individual choice)
Visit Capitol Hill and see the Supreme Court and Capitol buildings

Marist College Chamber Choir formal concert as part of the


National Festival of the States
9:00pm
11:00pm

Dinner at the Greene Turtle


Bus transfer back to the hotel from the Verizon Center in front of the Greene
Turtle
Return to the hotel for overnight

Breakfast at the hotel
Hotel check-out and board motorcoach

School(s) Marist College Chamber Choir Mass participation at
local parish

Lunch, on own
Visit the Iwo Jima Memorial and then visit Arlington National Cemetery
and view the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
Visit the 9-11 Pentagon Memorial
Afternoon departure for home

This is a very flexible itinerary. Except for confirmed appointments and performances, the
places of interest and the sequence of sightseeing might be changed if necessary or desirable. In
the event of an unavoidable conflict in the performance and the sightseeing schedule, the
concert schedule will prevail, and it may be necessary to exclude some sightseeing activities.
