When it comes to education there are many factors which play into the learning process.
There is a relationship between psychology, neuroscience and education. Psychology is looking
at the mind and functions. Where neuroscience is the focus of the nervous system in the brain
and how it functions. When it comes to education it takes some knowledge of psychology and
neuroscience to provide the best learning outcomes for the students in the room. Teachers bring
all the information together to create the environment and lesson plans based on the proper age
of the children.
The relationship between the three is learning each childs own needs. Not every child is
going to learn at the same rate. Along with not every childs brain is going to function the same.
I would use the information of how a childs brain works at a certain age in the education field to
help plan lessons for the children. I would also use the information to help individualize learning
within the classroom for students. There are going to be different learning styles within the room
and using this to set up the classroom is also important. I would also use this to further my
knowledge of the brain if there was something I did not know about to help the students out in
the classroom.
In the classroom the relationship between all three is very important. Knowing the
psychology of a student helps know how their brain functions also the same with neuroscience.
When a teacher is familiar with how the brain functions for the students in the room they are able
to better gear lesson plans to the child. The teachers can use the information to better engage the
students in the learning process. When a child is learning about numbers it is important to do
more with numbers than have the child write them and see them written on the board.

Completing activities which are going to involve the students counting and seeing how many
objects is a good way of engaging them.
The three psychology, neuroscience and education is all a major part of brain-compatible
learning. Teaching when you know more about the brain is important in the learning process
because it can help the children learn more. It can help engage the students better along with
having the correct materials and the correct environment for the students involved. When
teachers know knowledge of the brain they are able to give the best learning experience to the
students within the room.
