the raid inMalaysia, Ray is confronted with refugees trying to start a new life
and that being taken away from them. Viewers are able to establish that ray
has transformed into a refugee apologist in a full shot of her saying these
people are just trying to find a new home. and I am certainly not relishing it
shows the transformation. Rays preconceptions have been challenged and
taken on an emotional rollercoaster. Unexpected and sudden discovery

describe themselves as sojourners in a foreign land. They feel nervous,

water yet he still travelled by boat in search for a new place to live with his
family. Adams encounter with Wasmis story shocks and surprises him.
Through mid shots he is seen having trouble understanding why someone
would risk their life when they know they are afraid of it. In Malaysia, Adam
goes to work with the Chin men and finds out that they are volunteer workers.
This encounter affected him deeply and is seen in a full shot of him hammering
the soil really aggressively. Adam comments that there is no OHNS,
comparing and contrasting life back in Australia and life of the Chin men.
Adams transformation take place when he was asked what he would if he was
in a situation like the refugees and he replied confidently I would do the
journey. Adam understands the hardships and struggles the refugee had to
face before entering a safe haven. Through unexpected and sudden discovery,

for transformation.
