PITCH

Part 2

MUSIC
The music chosen was by The Fratellis
singing their song Chelsea Dagger.

Near the start of the advert I changed the Chelsea

Dagger song start and speeded it up by 30 seconds
so the advert will have the drop and the main part
of the song will play. You can hear it after 8 seconds
in the advert the music is edited so It speeds the
flow of the advert. All adverts need to have a quick
flow to them.

I chose this song because there is a strong

and energetic beat to it. Making the
advert feel more alive. Using music also
attracts the attention of the audience.

This is the sound bar above which shows all the

sound recording around 8 seconds, where the music
was edited to skip the first part of the song. As you
can see the music bare go low and down the change
as the music gets louder as it changes the bar rises
up.

FORM &
STYLE
Form Series, this is because of the Share
a coke advertising scheme. So the advert
links with other Coca Cola Advert.
Style The way the advert flow quickly due
to the effects of the bottle moving
everywhere and changing very quickly.
There is not a strong form in the Advert because there is not a storyline behind
advert. This advert is advertising the four different Coca Cola types, and filming
them and using good filming techniques such as the bottle being dropped and
then caught in another shot. That was also a style, using the bottles as an effect
dropping down the screen and then catching it on the next shot above George
the actors head. Also to emphasis the style of this advert I made the bottle the
was starred at the front of the family game, as you have seen the bottles all
quickly change in a rotor 3 times. This creates a very nice effect. Doing this
created form in the advert, making the flow of the advert feel and go faster
keeping the audience engaged.

ASA & OFCOM - REGULATIONS

This advert definitely abides by all
the rules and regulation bodies
because I have made sure that
the advert is appropriate for
viewing on the television. Having
these regulation bodies such as
ASA and Ofcom is so that not just
anything can be advertised, rules
must be abided by within
advertising.

Regulation Bodies All of the regulation bodies

include looking out for adverts which are
inappropriate in any form of way, such as
racism, feminism within the advert.
If people feel as though an advert is
inappropriate in any way they will email one of
the regulation bodies which would be ASA.
ASA are the company that have the power to
not allow adverts to be shown on television if
they have they have been complained about.
Adverts such as the Smarties advert has been
taken down by the ASA because sexual
activity was being displayed and it was

PROPOSAL ADVERTISING TIMES

The advert time is after

9.30 because that s the
prime time television
hours and the advert will
be on there one a night
every night for 6 weeks.

WHY CHOOSE THIS ADVERT?

Why?
Because :
- shows outstanding music
choose.
- editing and the flow of the
advert.
- the bottle transitions.
- will make a good profit
considering the
Choosing this advert will financially help you because very little cost was done,
cost for the shoot was
because it was a cheap shoot. The profit margin will also be a lot more
incredibly cheap.
promising because in this Coca Cola advert there are 4 different products but
from the same brand. This will help increase the profit margin. Other adverts
have only been advertising just a single product. Also the style and the way this
advert was filmed was done carefully making the advert flow from the
beginning to the end with a fast pace. The music choice is inspiring as well.
