At the end of this class, 9th grade students will distinguish at least 5 cultures out of 6 France, Morocco, Turkey, Inda, Arabic countries and Japan.

Videos, audio-visual sources and texts will be used in this class.
Learning-Teaching Methods [ASSURE (Select Strategies, Technology, Media and
Materials)]
This lesson will be student-centered and the students will be encouraged to express their
ideas, which will lead to cooperative learning. Also, direct method and communicative
approach will be utilized.
Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials and
Require Learner Participation)]
A video related to distinctions between the cuisines of six cultures mentioned above will
be shown.
The learners will listen to different accents of specific words. Also, along with the
entertainment, the students will be familiar with how to pronounce different ways of
speaking. Furthermore, the learners will create a paragraph with new vocabularies
learned in the class.
